Emergency & First Aid Procedures:
Inhalation - Remove victim to fresh air and seek medical attention.
Skin - Wash with water - if irritation persists, seek medical attention.
Eyes - Flush with plenty of water for 15 minutes, holding eyelids open. Seek medical attention.
Incompatability (Materials to Avoid): Do not mix with alkline based products.
Hazardous Decomposition Products: If mixed with other products, could emit chlorine.
Conditions to Avoid: Thermal degradation will emit hydrogen chloride, carbon monoxide and chlorine.
Spill, Leak or Waste Disposal Procedures
Spills or Leaks: Small Spills - Mop up, remove to out of doors. Large Spills - Evacuate area. Contain liquid transfer to metal container. Keep out of water supply.
Waste Disposal: Dispose of contained spill in accordance with applicable state and federal regulations.
Respiratory: Below 25 PPM - none. Above 25 PPM use self contained breathing apparatus.
Ventilation: Provide proper ventilation to keep exposure below the threshold limit value (50 PPM).
Gloves: Wear neoprene or PVC gloves.
