Product Description

HYDROCLEAN'S HT-350, EPOXY and URETHANE PAINT REMOVER is a solvent base paint remover originally formulated to remove epoxy and urethane coatings. Essentially a modified version of our solvent paint remover, it can be described as having the following properties: Biodegradable, non-flammable, mildly acidic, thixotropic, solvent/surface emulsion.

HT-350 has been found to be extremely effective in removing coatings that have a concentration of lead pigment. When used on wood substrates, it will strip multi-layers of paint and leave the wood surface clean of any residual paint coating. Unlike alkaline removers, HT-350 will not raise of the grain of wood.

Before the application of new paint, the stripped surface should be cleaned and neutralized with HYDROCLEAN'S HT-40 SUPER CONCENTRATE CLEANER DEGREASER.

Important

Let stand, do not agitate, rub or work in the product for this will disrupt the chemistry of the preparation. To increase the reaction of the remover, more HT-350 can be applied over the top of existing paint remover. Use care to apply heavily and evenly. Do not agitate as this may disrupt the chemistry of the original coat of HT-350.

After a 30 minute dwell time, hand scrape or rinse with high pressure water (1500 to 1800 PSI at 3-5 GPM).

NOTE: Due to the neutralization effect of water, it may be necessary to let the surface dry before repeating the aforementioned procedure.

To determine both the safety to the base material and the activity towards the unwanted coating, it is recommended that a small test patch be performed. For coatings not successfully removed by HYDROCLEAN'S HT-350 EPOXY and URETHANE PAINT REMOVER, see data sheets for HYDROCLEAN'S HT-300 SOLVENT PAINT REMOVER and HYDROCLEAN'S HT-716 HEAVY DUTY PAINT REMOVER.

Caution

As the product contains methylene chloride, use only in a well ventilated area. Harmful if swallowed. In case of skin or eye contact, flush with copious amounts of water immediately. Open container slowly to release possible pressure build up. Keep from freezing. Keep out of reach of children. Methylene chloride has been classified as a hazardous substance. Check Federal E.P.A. & Local Regulations on disposal requirements.

DANGER!!! HT-350 EPOXY & URETHANE PAINT REMOVER contains methylene chloride, which is a substance suspected to be a cancer causing agent in humans.
